KG Trade

Timberwolves: Here is my take on the whole Kevin Garnett trade rumors. I think that the Wolves and Kevin McHale should just trade KG, and half the team for Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum. Now I know that the conservative T' Wolves will never do this. Glen Taylor is too busy buying another sports team and McHale is too busy bombing the team with bad decisions. Can we do a GM trade? I say that we go McHale and KG for Kobe. Now in all seriousness, I think Bryant would be a good player on the team because him, Randy Foye and Juwan Howard would make for an impressive 1-2-3 punch. Hopefully we would still have Mark Blount, and with him and Kobe making great music together, you can ship them the 2008 NBA Finals trophy to them right now (OK maybe not, but I can dream can't I?).

Twins: Morneau is OK. Whew...dodged a bullet there huh? His whole ordeal was painful for me because I thought he might be out for the season or he'll be seriously injured. Over to the Twins on-field.... They are not playing excellently, but they are getting by. I think they should aim to win a few series before the All-Star Break, so that they will have some momentum going into the second half of the season. Mauer is really doing well, and we can only hope the rest of the offense follows.

'Til Next Time...
Eric
